Performance

The Sona 2 Cruise is one of those powerful machines that can wake up your nerve cells around your clitoris and give you an orgasm within seconds. In fact, this toy was so quick that I highly recommend starting with a foreplay-friendly toy before moving on to it. Whilst its performance was amazing once I found the right spot and the right level of pressure needed to give me an orgasm, there was quite a learning curve involved in operating this toy.

The Sona Cruise 2 is a precision tool: move one tiny bit away from your clit and nothing happens. But if I held it firmly against my clit – as I would with most clit stimulator toys – the suction felt so strong that it made me wonder whether I was operating a sex toy or my vacuum cleaner. I was almost scared of getting bruises and was constantly re-applying lubricant.

But don’t let my rough beginnings put you off! It took me a little longer than usual to learn how to operate it but, once I realized that all it needs is just subtle contact with my clit as opposed to firm pressure, it was truly magical. The sonic waves will do the work and no doubt I had one of the most remarkable orgasms ever. The Sona Cruise 2 is a fantastic toy and I highly recommend it.

The Cruise Control

It took me a while to get around the concept of cruise control on something that was not a car – and I hardly use it on my car! It is beautiful and stylish. Although the shape still reminds me of those ear examinations tools (like many other clit stimulators around), the slightly curved shaft makes this toy highly ergonomic and incredibly comfortable to use.

Price

Lelo is a Rolls Royce-type of company, making luxury toys. The Sona 2 Cruise is not a budget product. So, is it worth the high-end price? There certainly are great budget sex toy options on the market, such as the Satisfyer Pro 2.

Indeed, most of my sex toys fall into the budget category! Nevertheless, given the design, the innovative technology, silky-smooth silicone and, most importantly, their ergonomic features, I believe it is worth the extra price you pay.

Material and Care

The Sona 2 Cruise is made with super soft silicone and feels great on the skin! Lubricant is highly recommended and, as mentioned before, I had to constantly re-apply it. This toy is waterproof and easy to clean. As with any toy, it is important to clean it after every use.

Intensity

There are 12 patterns and three buttons: one for pattern selection, one for increasing the intensity and one for reducing it. I only use it at the lowest intensity. It was all I needed to climax.

Sound

This toy is reasonably quiet in normal use, although like all the air-wave technology, or ‘clit sucking’, toys, the Sona 2 Cruise is much louder when it’s not in contact with the body than when it is pressed against skin.

As mentioned before, I love the Sona 2 Cruise design. It is small, ergonomic and comfortable to handle. My wrists and hands had no trouble holding it for an extended period of time.

What Jack Says About the Sona 2 Cruise

I love trying toys with Alice and seeing her reaction, but this is a tool that I did not feel very confident using. As she mentioned, the Sona 2 Cruise is a precision tool. Although I like to think that I know where her clit is, it was hard for me to get the right angle to hold it and know how firm it needed to be against her clit. Once I handed the toy to Alice, she was able to use it with that required precision, with pretty quick results!
